Five retail tenants have leased a combined 16,675 square feet at The Shops at Old York Village, a mixed-use project in Burlington County, in a series of deals arranged by Fennelly Associates.
Brokers with the firm represented the developer, Renaissance Properties, in the recent transactions at 90-105 Saddle Way in Chesterfield. They include a 6,000-square-foot lease with Fundaes Arcade, an interactive arcade featuring the latest games paired with ice cream and confectionary treats, along with a 3,300-square-foot commitment by Mikey’s Bagels and a 2,500-square-foot deal with Gervasio’s Italian Family Restaurant.
Also taking space are Monroe Dental Group and RPM Dance, which will occupy 2,500 and 2,375 square feet, respectively.
“The Shops at Old York Village’s downtown feel and access to a rapidly growing local population make it an ideal retail destination in today’s market,” said Jerry Fennelly, president of Fennelly Associates. “We’re thrilled to play a role in welcoming these businesses to Chesterfield and wish them success in their new locations.”
Fennelly and Patrick Dintrone, a corporate real estate specialist with the Hamilton-based firm, completed the assignment. They noted that The Shops at Old York Village contains some 39,000 square feet of retail space across two separate buildings, which also include apartments on the upper floors and are within walking distance of more than 1,100 recently built homes, while the site is minutes from routes 130 and 206, Interstate 295 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
