A fitness and personal training facility has signed a lease to expand its footprint in Hamilton, in one of several newly announced deals by R.J. Brunelli & Co. LLC.
The retail brokerage represented both the operator, Performance Strength Academy, and the landlord in the 3,362-square-foot transaction at 3 Sunnybrae Blvd. The deal will allow Performance Strength to grow from its current 10,490-square-foot facility, which is directly adjacent to the new space, inside the 57,700-square-foot property known as Dover Park Plaza.
R.J. Brunelli Sales Associate Peter Miller completed the deal, having also brokered the tenant’s initial lease earlier this year. The business is now taking over what was previously occupied by a dance studio, with plans to add competition and Olympic-style equipment for specialized training and open the new section in the second quarter of 2022.
Brunelli’s other new leases include a 1,973-square-foot commitment by Rita’s Ice at 30 International Drive South in the Flanders section of Mount Olive, the site of what’s known as the ITC Crossing South Shopping Center. R.J. Brunelli Principal and President Danielle Brunelli represented ownership in the deal, noting that the new store is slated to open in early 2022.
She also represented the landlord in a new deal with Amy Murphy Salon, which is vacating the space and relocating to a 5,000-square-foot unit in the complex. Brunelli noted that the 514,903-square-foot center, which is located near the intersection of Route 46 and Interstate 80, is anchored by Lowe’s, TJ Maxx, Michael’s and Bed, Bath & Beyond.
In the Basking Ridge section of Bernards, Brunelli represented European Wax Center franchisees in leasing 1,419 square feet at Riverwalk Village, a 50,000-square-foot center at 665 Martinsville Road. Brian Silbert of Silbert Realty represented ownership at the property, where the operator is slated to open in the first quarter of 2022.
Brunelli’s other recent deals include Simos Insourcing Solutions’ 1,460-square-foot lease at 85 Main St. in East Brunswick. Senior Sales Associate John Lenaz represented both parties in the deal with the nationwide staffing company, whose clients include Williams Sonoma.
