Hartz Mountain Industries has taken the wraps off a new 262-unit luxury apartment property in Weehawken, in a high-profile addition to its acclaimed Lincoln Harbor neighborhood.
Known as Hoboken Point, the complex sits just north of the Hoboken border and includes two 15-story towers connected by a central podium with some 17,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space, according to a news release. That includes a nearly 5,200-square-foot private coworking space known as Work Lab, boasting panoramic views of the Hudson River and providing residents with a setting that includes private conference rooms, comfortable seating, tech-enabled video conferencing and an outdoor terrace.
Leasing is now underway at the property at 100 Harbor Blvd., where units range from studios to two-bedroom-plus-den layouts, Hartz said. Monthly rents start at $3,105 for a studio, with move-ins expected to begin in late spring.
“In an era where hybrid work models redefine the way we live and work, the concept of home has taken on a new significance,” said Gus Milano, Hartz Mountain’s president and chief operating officer. “It’s now more critical than ever to provide an elevated at-home environment that balances work, wellness and leisure. Offering a condo-style living experience in rental form, complete with a cohesive array of hotel-inspired amenities, Hoboken Point rises to this challenge, setting a new standard in contemporary living for New Jersey’s vibrant Gold Coast.”
Designed by CetraRuddy, Hoboken Point is a short walk from both Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service and the NY Waterway, which provides ferry service to Manhattan. Residents have views of the New York City skyline and access to a public waterfront esplanade surrounding the building.
Along with its upscale apartments, the complex has amenities such as a modern fitness center and yoga studio with floor-to-ceiling windows, a private dining lounge with a demonstration kitchen and a game lounge with a sports simulator for immersive gaming experiences, the news release said. There’s also a multilevel roof deck with a pool and spa, cabanas and lounge areas, an outdoor kitchen and landscaped green space.
“Hoboken Point’s sculpted form creates a beacon of excellence on the shoreline while curating a waterfront lifestyle that reflects the vibrancy of its location,” said John Cetra, founding principal of CetraRuddy.
The collection of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes is the latest addition to Hartz’s 60-acre Lincoln Harbor neighborhood, which the company has developed over several decades. Its offerings today include a Whole Foods Market, restaurants such as Blu on the Hudson, Chart House and Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel and two iconic office buildings that are visible to those entering and exiting the Lincoln Tunnel.
