An optical retailer is maintaining its presence at a Bridgewater shopping center, under a newly completed lease by Levin Management Corp. and Cushman & Wakefield.
The tenant, the new owner of a Pearle Vision franchise location, is taking 2,000 square feet to remain in place at the Somerset Shopping Center, according to LMC. The eye care chain will do so after having operated at the 219,000-square-foot property, which sits at the junction of Route 202/206 and Route 28, since 1997.
LMC Senior Leasing Representative Vanessa Fernandez-Kelty represented ownership at the complex. David Townes of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, Optical Group of NJ LLC.
“Shoppers have long appreciated the presence of Pearle Vision at Somerset Shopping Center, and this quality optical retailer will continue to provide outstanding care for consumers under its new ownership,” Fernandez-Kelty said. “Health care concepts that combine medical use with a retail component, as is the case with Pearle Vision, are excellent traffic drivers and contribute significantly to a retail property’s overall ‘destination’ appeal.”
Pearle Vision occupies its space alongside a mix of retailers, restaurants and service providers such as Christmas Tree Shops, Barnes & Noble, Gap and TGI Fridays.
