An e-commerce company is moving within Bergen County to a newly renovated, 40,000-square-foot building in Carlstadt, brokers with NAI James E. Hanson announced.
The firm, NIS CP Corp., has leased the full building at 223 Veterans Blvd. under a deal with Sitex Group, NAI Hanson said in a news release. The tenant is consolidating into the space from two separate locations in Englewood and Palisades Park.
NAI Hanson’s Kenneth Lundberg and Patrick Lennon represented the NIS CP Corp. John Friedland of United Realty Advisors represented Sitex, which acquired the building last fall with the goal of renovating the space for small to medium-sized industrial users.
Updates included renovations to the property’s 5,000 square feet of office space and adding modern warehouse lighting to the industrial portion.
“We have seen demand for small and medium-sized industrial product continue to drive leasing velocity in the Meadowlands submarket,” Lundberg said. “Flexible spaces like 223 Veterans Boulevard can meet the space needs of a wide variety of tenants and are increasingly in short supply throughout the market.
“We were happy to work with the Sitex Group, one of the area’s premier industrial owners, to effectively market the building and secure a high-quality tenant for our client.”
The building has 16-foot-clear ceilings, four dock doors, one drive-in and parking for 34 cars, NAI Hanson said. The firm also touted its easy access to major transportation arteries and the building’s adaptability for a wide range of industrial uses.
