ON THE HORIZON
New Jersey’s commercial / industrial / specialized warehouse development continues to grow, along with self-storage and mixed-use projects. We see this as a significant opportunity to expand our client and project portfolios. Najarian Associates will build on our expertise in environmental consulting and remediation and stormwater design and management solutions to help clients navigate the regulatory complexities of developing these projects.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Najarian Associates was retained to provide Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) services to the owner/operator of a former industrial site that was subject to the requirements of the NJDEP Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) prior to selling the property. Our LSRP navigated the myriad requirements under ISRA and was ultimately able to issue an Entire Site Unrestricted Use Response Action Outcome (RAO). A unique element of this transaction was the previous owner’s failure to satisfy their ISRA obligations, resulting in an outstanding and unresolved NJDEP case. Our LSRP successfully liaised with the NJDEP to resolve both cases, enabling our client to proceed with the transaction.
