A physical therapy practice has doubled its footprint with the opening of a new 5,000-square-foot facility in the Burlington County township of Medford.
The operator, Davis Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab, has retrofitted what was once an apothecary at 338 Stokes Road to create a space that offers treatment for sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and joint pain. The facility also allows Davis to enhance its “Return to Play” programming and video analysis of sport-specific biomechanics with 800 square feet of open space and turf, the practice said, while providing a dedicated testing suite for its Analytics for Athletes program.
Additionally, the site has three evaluation rooms and other treatment areas to support its ACL and spine programs as well as concussion recovery, clinical education and sports psychology.
“Making this move and the complete restoration of 338 Stokes Road began over a year ago,” said Dr. Andrea Davis, owner of Davis PTSR, who pointed to her dream of building “a large enough facility that would offer the highest quality of care using research and advanced technology combined with our skilled, personalized approach to patient treatment.”
“I truly believe Team Davis is the very best at putting our patients’ needs first,” she added. “Each member is by far the smartest and most caring group of people I have ever worked with over the course of my career. We are a team in every sense of the word.”
