The owners of a well-known garden center in Readington have sold a nearby commercial property for $3.2 million, in a newly announced deal by Deluccia Commercial Group.
According to the brokerage firm, the parcel at 3523 Route 22 spans 5.86 acres and includes a former 6,468-square-foot restaurant building. It’s also part of the township’s highway commercial zone and well-positioned for a range of uses under the new owner, which was not disclosed, benefiting from strong visibility and access along one of Central Jersey’s busiest retail corridors.
The firm’s Tim Deluccia represented the seller, the Arvin family, touting it as a fixture in the Readington community that operates the neighboring Arvin’s Produce and Garden Center. The business has built a reputation over generations for its locally grown produce, seasonal offerings and garden supplies and, as part of the transaction, retained ownership of an additional five-plus acres adjacent to the property, where the farm market and garden center will continue to operate.
Deluccia represented both parties in the deal.
