A construction supplier has doubled its footprint with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, leasing a combined 64,042 square feet at two South Hackensack industrial buildings.
The developer and landlord announced Wednesday that it has signed a renewal and expansion with L&W Supply Corp. The business has been a Sanzari tenant since 2004 at 14 Central Blvd., where it recommitted to its 32,000-square-foot lease, while also signing a new 32,042-square-foot transaction at the adjacent 25 Empire Blvd.
NAI James E. Hanson’s Andrew Somple, Chris Todd, Mike Walters and Fernando Garip worked on the transaction with Jerry Barta, Sanzari’s vice president and director of leasing and marketing. Team Resources Senior Executive Vice President Eric Lewin represented L&W, a national distributor of construction supplies and building materials.
“We take great pride in our long-term ownership of every building in our portfolio, and a main source of that pride is the long-term tenure of many of our tenants,” Barta said. “Our forward-looking management of every property in our portfolio and our focus on continually delivering the gold standard in tenant service ensures that we are able to maintain high tenant retention throughout our portfolio and provide long-term homes for New Jersey’s diverse business community to continue to grow.”
Sanzari touted the buildings’ location less than a mile from the New Jersey Turnpike and access to the routes 3, 17 and 46. At 14 Central, L&W has the benefit of six tailgates and one drive-in loading door, while 25 Empire features five tailgates and one drive-in loading door.
