Sax LLP is set to move later this year to its new headquarters in Parsippany, where it’s leasing nearly 40,000 square feet within a revitalized office campus.
The accounting, tax and business advisory firm this week touted its upcoming relocation to Latitude, a two-building complex at 389 Interpace Parkway. Currently based in Clifton, its home of 40 years, the practice said the move will be critical to employee retention and attraction.
“As our firm has evolved and expanded over the years, we’ve paid close attention to the ever-changing needs of our employees and clients,” said Joseph Damiano, Sax’s managing partner. “With that, we’ve worked to find an environment that brings our capabilities to the next level and strengthens us for the future.
“Latitude provides us with world-class services, amenities and an environment that will help us attract the next generation of professional talent. Combined with the building’s innovative design, one can’t help but feel productive and the positive energy from working there.”
Owned by Vision Real Estate Partners and Rubenstein Partners LP, Latitude is a two-building,
700,000-square-foot complex just north of Interstate 80. The joint venture is transforming the former Morris Corporate Center IV campus with a series of new amenities, meeting spaces and lifestyle services and experiences.
The finished product will feature a central glass atrium that connects the two symmetrical five-story wings, with spaces and dining options that are inspired by major U.S. cities.
“Latitude is designed to transcend the traditional work routine,” said Sam Morreale, founder and managing partner of Vision Real Estate Partners. “At Latitude, you don’t just come to the office to work — you come here to share experiences across disciplines and companies to become the most successful version of yourself. We look forward to being a part of this exciting new chapter in the future of Sax LLP.”
JLL’s Tim Greiner and Brendan McBride represented Sax in the deal, which was announced early this year. The firm expects to complete the move by the end of the year.
“Brendan and I were thrilled to help Sax achieve their ambitions of sourcing a modern workplace that would elevate their firm for the future,” said Greiner, an executive managing director with JLL. “Latitude was a great fit for the progressive and expanding firm, as it combines state-of-the art design and a workplace that fosters a productive and dynamic work-life experience to attract and retain their exceptional talent.”
