Woodmont Properties has completed its lease-up of a new 120-unit luxury rental property at the eastern edge of Warren County.
Located in Independence Township, the collection of one- and two-bedroom homes hit the market last spring with a mix of high-end amenities and a bucolic setting for residents. Those offerings helped drive leasing interest at the 11-acre property at Route 517 and Bilby Road, where renters are also minutes from the Hackettstown train station and from highways such as Interstate 80 and routes 46 and 206.
The lease-up of what’s known as Woodmont Liberty at Independence is the latest milestone for Woodmont’s continually growing residential platform.
“Woodmont Liberty has garnered tremendous attention from New Jersey renters since we launched leasing in 2023 and we’re grateful to our residents who have entrusted us to provide them with an unparalleled living experience,” said Stephen Santola, Woodmont’s executive vice president and general counsel. “As we remain steadfast in our residential development strategy, our commitment to delivering best-in-class products that exceed the needs of today’s renters stands strong. We’re thankful to our dedicated team members whose outstanding efforts help bring our vision to reality, enabling us to create a lasting impact on the communities we serve.”
Apartments at the property have high-end design, finishes and appliances, with some units offering dens or private patios and balconies, according to a news release. Woodmont has also catered to residents who work remotely with spaces such as private offices and work pods, all of which have complimentary WiFi.
Meantime, the property offers a bark park, an indoor pet spa, a fitness center with strength and cardio equipment and a spin and yoga room with on-demand fitness classes, the firm said. Other features include a game den, dedicated storage rooms and a children’s playground, while residents have direct access to hiking paths.
Woodmont noted that it recently joined partner Canoe Brook Development to break ground for a 199-unit luxury rental property in Randolph. It also announced that Woodmont Forge at Hopewell, its 300-unit project in Hopewell, was 35 percent occupied just months after launching leasing.
