A commercial real estate firm has sold a nearly 67,000-square-foot industrial building in Edison, in a transaction brokered by Zimmel Associates and Stricker Realty.
In a news release Thursday, Zimmel announced that Millman Realty Investments has sold 8 Progress St. to B and H Worldwide for an undisclosed price. Located just off Interstate 287, the one-story building spans 66,995 square feet and offers quick access to the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 1 and 9.
Rich Falkin of Stricker Realty represented the seller, while Jordan Zimmel and David Zimmel of Zimmel Associates represented the buyer of the 4.06-acre property. Zimmel Associates noted that the building, which sits on 4.06 acres, features 22-foot ceiling heights, four tailboard loading docks and can be expanded by 30,000 square feet.
“Despite a lack of industrial buildings on the market at this time in Edison, we found out about the building, orchestrated a deal and had a signed contract in three business days,” said David Zimmel, the firm’s president. “The purchaser was able to react very quickly to secure the building and close.”
