Burlington Stores has opened its doors at a Secaucus shopping center, where it has backfilled the onetime home of a Sports Authority location.
Levin Management Corp., the property manager at Mill Creek at Harmon Meadow, announced the debut at 31 Mill Creek Road less than a year after signing the lease with the off-price retailer. The store occupies 47,000 square feet at the 306,000-square-foot power center, part of the 200-acre mixed-use Harmon Meadow development.
“Off-price brands are among the strongest sub-sectors in retailing today,” said Sidney Singer, a vice president of leasing with LMC. “Burlington is a quality addition to Mill Creek’s tenant lineup, which also includes Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx and Bob’s Discount Furniture.”
LMC represents the property owner, an institutional client of New York Life Real Estate Investors. The new Burlington store is among more than 780 in operation.
