Leasing is underway at Hornrock Properties’ newest luxury multifamily project, a 130-unit rental property in the Bergen County borough of Old Tappan.
Known as Park & Arbor, the development at 18 Park Ave. has a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units and what Hornrock described as country club-inspired amenities. It also includes a second building with 21,000 square feet of retail space, which is slated to host a popular breakfast and lunch restaurant with outdoor patio seating, among other food and beverage and service options.
RHO Residential is the leasing and management agent.
“Park & Arbor epitomizes luxury and elegance in one of northern New Jersey’s most coveted locations,” said David Hornblass, a principal at Hornrock Properties. “The residences are adorned with high-end designer finishes and appointments, while the extensive amenities rival those found in upscale boutique hotels, creating a refined and enriching environment that will attract both local residents and those seeking respite from the congested Hudson River waterfront cities.”
SLIDESHOW: Park & Arbor
Located just off Old Tappan Road, Park & Arbor is home to a café with a coffee vending bar, work booths and conference rooms, according to a news release. Other features include a clubroom and speakeasy with a bar, a multi-arcade, a card table and billiards, as well as a modern fitness center with Echelon bikes and a fitness studio with a CrossFit rig.
The property also has outdoor amenities such as a resort-style pool with cabana seating, multiple fire pits, grills, outdoor dining areas and spaces such as a putting green and a bocce ball court. Residents, meantime, have access to a package room, cold storage and covered parking with electric vehicle charging stations.
“Immediate access to dining and retail options is an additional amenity,” said Brenda Cioce, founder and president of RHO Residential. “It is rare for a community of this size to offer such a comprehensive lifestyle package, combining luxury homes, hotel-inspired amenities, and retail conveniences. Park & Arbor is poised to stand out in the Bergen County marketplace.”
Hornrock noted last week that Old Tappan provides a tranquil setting that remains close to everyday conveniences, boutique shops, dining, recreation and transportation, adding that it’s less than 20 miles from the George Washington Bridge. Residents are also minutes from New York State, the historic Palisades, golf courses and hiking trails.
