An optometry practice will be the latest tenant at a Manasquan shopping center after agreeing to lease 2,200 square feet at the property, according to Levin Management Corp.
Operated by Dr. Jennifer Ward, Wall Eyecare Associates will join the roster at Wall Towne Center alongside ShopRite and a host of others at the 100,000-square-foot complex. Its new home is directly on Route 34, less than a quarter-mile from the Route 35 intersection, with a residential population of 130,000 within a five-mile radius.
LMC Leasing Representative Kendal Hand-Freda represented ownership in the deal at 2433-2445 Route 34, while Kent Lorentzen of Coletta Commercial Realty represented the tenant.
“Health care concepts are excellent traffic drivers that contribute significantly to a retail property’s overall ‘destination’ atmosphere,” Hand-Freda said. “Along with its great mix of tenants, Wall Towne Center provides Dr. Ward with an accessible and highly visible location that is convenient for her current — and future — clients. We are pleased to bring this vision care option to the community.”
In announcing the deal, LMC noted that Ward was a Pearle Vision franchisee at a nearby location before opening her own practice at Wall Towne Center. Along with the 71,000-square-foot ShopRite, the office now joins the likes of AT&T Wireless, Cherry Blow Dry Bar, Great Clips, Joe’s Bagel & Grill, Ocean First Bank and others.
