A new surgical center is coming to Alfred Sanzari Enterprises’ flagship Glenpointe campus in Teaneck after leasing nearly 4,300 square feet at the property.
According to a news release, the deal will allow Columbia University Irving Medical Center to house its surgical experts in cardiac, colorectal, liver, endocrine, oncology, plastics and vascular care in a location that’s closer to New Jersey. The new facility will also offer a range of services, including evaluations for surgery, second opinions and comprehensive follow-ups for post-surgical care in newly renovated exam rooms equipped with advanced technology and equipment.
Newmark’s Jeff Schotz, Peter Rossi, Dan Reider, Peter Kasparian and David Simson represented Alfred Sanzari Enterprises in the 4,283-square-foot deal on Frank W. Burr Boulevard. Gerry Lees and Jeffrey Prezant of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.
“The unique needs of office users today require that office environments are designed with adaptability in mind,” said Carolina Gutierrez, leasing and marketing manager for Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s lease highlights the flexibility of our Glenpointe campus that allows us to meet the needs of both traditional and nontraditional officer users. We are excited to welcome them to the campus and help deliver care to patients across northern New Jersey.”
In a news release, Sanzari cited Glenpointe’s location at the intersection of interstates 80 and 95, which provides direct access to Midtown Manhattan via the nearby George Washington Bridge. Tenants at the 670,000-square-foot office complex have access to amenities such as a 26,000-square-foot fitness center, a 22,000-square-foot outdoor space, a high-end dining hall, 700 hotel rooms on the property and a host of retail and restaurant options.
Sanzari also pointed to its partnership with Better Spaces, a tenant engagement service that operates an on-site community lounge and what’s known as the Better Spaces app to offer occupants more than 40 free programs and classes per week.
