A development team has launched leasing at the second phase of a new 180-unit luxury apartment complex in North Haledon, bringing new life to a long-vacant site near Route 208.
Tulfra Real Estate, which has partnered with The Hampshire Cos., said the first two buildings at what’s known as Molly Brook on Belmont have reached 80 percent occupancy, drawing renters from Wayne and from other parts of the tristate region. The second phase at the property, where leasing is now underway, includes two final buildings.
The complex at 920 Belmont Ave. also features a clubhouse that is scheduled to open on Feb. 12.
“After all the hard work and planning, to hear the praise from our current residents and those looking for apartment homes at Molly Brook has been a true reward,” said Sonny Jumani, president of Rochelle Park-based Tulfra Real Estate. “As we designed these spacious layouts, first and foremost we wanted Molly Brook apartments to feel more like homes, with all the modern conveniences and comforts that allow our residents to create their own signature space.”
In a news release, Tulfra said the Molly Brook clubhouse will have two levels for social gatherings and resident events, with a wide-screen TV on each floor, ample seating options, a billiards area, a clubhouse kitchen and a glass-enclosed, dual-sided fireplace. Residents will also have access to an advanced workout studio offering cardio, strength training and other types of fitness options.
Tulfra and Hampshire broke ground on the complex in summer 2020 and launched leasing at the first phase last spring. They’ve managed to lure renters with a location near routes 208 and 46, interstates 80 and 287 and a host of area amenities such as the Garden State Plaza, the Willowbrook Mall and others.
Also nearby is William Paterson University, as are recreation sites such as the High Mountain Park Preserve, Bridal Veil Falls and others.
“We made sure our community has something for everyone and it is located right in the center of everything,” Jumani said. “Shops, recreation, dining — North Haledon has it all.”
The Bozzuto Group is the leasing and management agent for Molly Brook, where monthly rents for one-bedroom homes start at $2,274, with grand opening specials.
